Bio

I am a sophomore majoring in Computer Science with a sequence in Leadership. Along with being a KLI Institute Assistant, I lead Claremont McKenna College’s CARE Center (Civility, Access, Resources, and Expression), work for CMC Admissions as a tour guide, and work as a Residential Technology Assistant (RTA). I started working at KLI during my freshman year because leadership is one of my passions and I have enjoyed learning more about the theories and research behind what makes a good leader. I have loved helping out with the Kravis-de Roulet conference, leadership dialogues, and Impact CMC and am looking forward to what the next years at KLI will bring.

Bio

I am a junior majoring in computer science through HMC and dual majoring in Economics, and I am excited about working on technology solutions that have social impact. During my time at CMC, I have enjoyed being part of two social impact Moonshot House cohorts, the Makership Program, Athenaeum server staff, and Claremont Boxing Club. Additionally, KLI has been home since I started college, and I am immensely grateful for the relationships that I have forged here. I joined KLI because of my fascination with leadership topics and the unique resources that students have to experiment and develop as leaders. Looking ahead to the rest of my time at KLI, I hope to pay it forward through supporting KLI underclassmen while continuing to build experiences that brings students and KLI Board and Fellows together.

Bio

I am a junior majoring in Computer Science and Philosophy. Besides working as an Institute Associate at KLI, I am also apart of the leadership team at the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and manage the Website Team of Claremont Women In Business. Working at KLI has allowed me to meet and study under some remarkable leaders in a wide variety of disciplines and given me the opportunity to put those skills into practice when working with the institute to spearhead new campaigns. In the future I hope to combine my interest in developing innovative software, security, and leadership to make impactful changes to the world. In my free time I enjoy exploring new places to eat ice cream, rock climbing, and graphic designing!

I am a senior majoring in Economics and Psychology with a leadership sequence. This year I am the Team Coordinator for the Institute Team at KLI. I have had the opportunity to work at KLI for the past four years, and have really enjoyed the experiences that it has given me. As Team Coordinator, I am focusing on revitalizing our marketing and programming efforts at KLI. Outside of KLI, I started my own 5C club (Design for America), spend my free time taking dance classes (hip-hop and zumba), and am working on my senior economics thesis (which is looking at the link between company culture and company performance).

Bio

I am a junior dual majoring in Government and Psychology. This is my second year working as a research assistant at KLI, and I have been so fortunate to be in an environment that encourages individual growth and leadership development. Most significantly, in my time at KLI, I am struck by the amount of freedom that surrounds the student-based research projects, allowing students to truly take initiative in the direction of their work. My research team is currently working on nonprofit consulting with United States Fight League in order to develop a leadership curriculum that the organization can implement into their training for its athletes. In addition to KLI, I am also the DOS Community Tutor Coordinator, serve as a First Generation Mentor within 1Gen, and am an active member in both Mi Gente and Questbridge. I am very excited to continue my work at KLI these next semesters!

Bio

I am a senior majoring in Psychology and Economics with a sequence in Leadership Studies. At CMC, I love leading trips as a member of Outdoor Initiative and attending talks at the Athenaeum! Through my three years as a Research Fellow, I’ve become confident navigating the end-to-end research process and enjoyed working on experiments, qualitative & quantitative analysis, as well as program evaluation. As the Research Team Coordinator, I am given the opportunity to put my learning on leadership theory into practice through working to create a collaborative culture amongst all KLI students. My time at KLI has also led me to realize my passion for IO Psychology, which I am eager to pursue in my job post-graduation at Cisco as a member of the HR Rotational Program!
