How We Win: Strategies for Effective Nonprofits
A Practical Workshop for Nonprofits to Maximize Their Impact
Sponsored by Randall Lewis and the Kravis Initiative

When: September 22, 2017
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Cocktail Hour and Networking: 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

People in the nonprofit sector are working tirelessly to uplift society and fight a variety of social issues plaguing our communities by finding sustainable solutions: enhancing public health, improving education, restoring the environment, and increasing economic prosperity, among many other valuable contributions.

Yet it can be frustrating, exhausting, and difficult to be part of the nonprofit community. Often we feel under assault. It feels as though we have countless, powerful forces working against us—as if we are in a constant “David versus Goliath” battle. Many good-hearted people can become burnt out or feel like it’s difficult to get ahead, let alone succeed. How do we make the greatest positive impact in our local communities? How do we win?

In "How We Win" we will share tried and tested practical tools—based on scientific research—to maximize your effectiveness and increase your potential for success. We reviewed hundreds of cases of average citizens trying to make the world a better place. We researched hundreds of nonprofits that were attempting to meet their goals and have the greatest impact. We wanted to know: what separated those who succeeded from those who failed?

In this workshop, we will share our findings. More importantly, we will take you through a series of empowering and inspiring exercises that we have developed. The principles and strategies you will learn from these exercises will help you to maximize your nonprofit’s impact. This is not a passive, academic experience where you will sit and listen to someone lecture at you all day. On the contrary, it is a fast-paced and dynamic day devoted to giving you the tools to strengthen your own effectiveness.

This is the first workshop in our new quarterly workshop series created to help build the breadth and scope of local Inland Empire non-profits.  Here’s the link to register. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email me or call at the number below.  THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS THIS THURSDAY, SEPT 14, 2017.
